How is Life?
After a crisp summer, rains have finally properly arrived here and provided the much-needed relief. Rains have also brought much frequent power-cuts with them, but because of our recently installed home inverter the power-cuts are not hurting as bad.
What about work?
Currently working remotely for Qweebi. Schools are on holiday right now, and thus we are gearing up for a jump-start at the commencement of the new school year.
What am I enjoying?
I have finally found a nice off-screen hobby in bookbinding. I finished my first notebook in May and have since then bound another smaller but much more polished notebook to act as my day-to-day scratchpad. I am currently in the middle of binding seven notebooks as gifts for some of my friends.
I am also currently on a 3-month streak of actually managing to write "Weeknotes". Albeit, they are in a physical notebook (using my first notebook mentioned above for this), and I don't expect to start publishing them on this website anytime soon.
What I'm playing, reading and watching?
Off-screen, I daily play cards with my mom over tea in the evening. In terms of video-games, I am enjoying the heck out of Horizon Forbidden West, Stardew Valley and Satisfactory. I do see both Horizon and Satisfactory having an end somewhere in the next six months but no such chance for Stardew.
I recently finished reading "The Hobbit" and am currently going through "Dumb Witness" by Agatha Christie at the moment. But since Blaugust has started, I expect to be reading (and writing) a lot more blog posts.
In the past three months, I have watched three movies. Out of those I found the "Minions & Monsters" one to be meh, "Swapped" to be okay and "Brave" to be good.
