The scene then shifts to the palace courtyard where Devsena has been bound with long chains to a pillar such that she is free to move but only in a certain radius. Bhallaldev taunts Devsena as to why she still is waiting for her son (who has been presumed dead) and not start her life again with Bhallaldev. After this introduction we are taken back to the hideout of Avantika and her colleagues. Shiva is watching the proceedings while hiding, here it is shown that they belong to Kuntala kingdom and their mission is to free their princess Devsena. This time Avantika is given the task to infiltrate the city and rescue Devsena.
Later Shiva lures Avantika in the trap he set for her. This way they meet and at first when Shiva says that he climbed the Jal Parvat just to meet her Avantika doesn't believe and says that it is impossible to scale the waterfall. After a bit of romantic banter from Shiva in response to Avantika's attempts to attack Shiva, he reveals the beauty hidden inside her to Avantika and also shows her the mask he got at the base of Jal Parvat. After seeing the mask Avantika is sure that Shiva has been saying the truth. After a bit of romance between the two, Avantika anaesthetizes Shiva and goes to complete her mission. Midway she is captured by Mahismati soldiers and Shiva comes to her rescue. After beating all but one soldiers, just as the last soldier is disarmed by Shiva, he is recognized by the soldier who stops attacking Shiva and spaces out. Just then reinforcements arrive and Shiva and Avantika flee on a tree trunk after causing an avalanche which takes care of all the reinforcements. On reaching a point of safety Shiva asks Avantika as to what is her mission and on learning it promises her that he will bring Devsena back for her.
